OK so after a mega upload session, this topic now has all powerpoints, videos and slides that I used to teach it.
I might add a few activities that you can do at home later but for many lessons, completing the exercises we did in class and watching the videos is more than enough. Happy sciencing! Mr Morton

In this topic we will be learning some of the basic skills needed to carry out physics experiments in science. Some of these topics may seem familiar to those you do in maths and indeed physics and maths are very similar but these are the skills you must have to be good at physics in year 7 and year 8. The definition of physics: Physics (from Ancient Greek: φυσική phusikḗ) "knowledge of nature", is the natural science that involves the study of matter and its motion through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. I will be adding to these web pages as we go through the topic but to begin with I have added summary sheets for each lesson. Feel free to print these and bring them to the lesson or glue them in your books as this will help you to progress at your own speed. Edit: The link to the practical mark sheet can be found here:
